At RM Treks, we are strong believers in the fact that travel can be a journey beyond the trip, it should be a story which lives with you for the rest of your life. Our Chitwan National Park Safari is designed for those who are interested in adventure but also for an experiential encounter with nature and culture.

Chitwan is where Nepal's wildlife shares its secrets. From the rustling of jungle leaves, to the entrancing Tharu drumbeat, each moment in Chitwan is a nature’s call to experience life the way it was intended to be. You can join us on a once in a lifetime safari experience, guided by our local guides who breathe and live the spirit of Chitwan.

Why RM Treks?

Highlights

Here is what makes this Safari Really Special?

Irresistible Wildlife Encounters in Chitwan National Park

Explore Asia's and Nepal's premier and oldest national park, the habitat of endangered one-horned rhino, Bengal tigers, sloth bears, gharials, and over 500 varieties of birds. Go on a Jeep safari or an Elephant-back ride, and your journey to the heart of the jungle is a genuine opportunity to spot wildlife in their native habitat—not caged or simulated environments.

Authentic Cultural Encounter with the Indigenous Tharu People

Travel isn't just about places—it's also about individuals. You visit a Tharu village in rural settings, visit the Tharu Museum, and take part in the famous Tharu Cultural Dance Program. A night of drumming rhythms, folktales, and narrations brings you into contact with the splendid culture of Chitwan's native inhabitants.

Rapti River sunsets

As the sun sets to evening, pause for a peaceful moment on the Rapti River. You observe the hues of the sky, listen to the soft rustling of leaves, and perhaps even spot a crocodile swimming silently through the river. It's one of those peaceful, reflective moments that stay with you long after the trip is over.

Adventurous Canoe Ride & Guided Nature Walk

Your canoe trip down the Rapti River is not only beautiful—it's full of surprises. You paddle quietly across the water, looking for marsh mugger crocodiles and varieties of birds. Then, set out on foot with our seasoned local guides on a nature walk. Learn how to interpret animal tracks, identify native vegetation, and be more mindful of the jungle's subtle, wild beauty.

Insight into Elephant Conservation

Visit the Elephant Breeding Center and learn about Nepal's conservation efforts on these gentle giants firsthand. It's an educational experience that adds depth to your learning about conservation in the region.

Eco-Friendly, Family-Owned Resort Stay

Stay in our welcoming, sustainable jungle resort—placed right at the border of the jungle. The resort offers comfort, tranquility, and local hospitality, tracing back decades of passion for people and land. Wonderful cuisines, peaceful evenings, and friendly faces make it more than a hotel—it becomes a part of your story.

And our guides, they are not only knowledgeable—they're locals, having grown up in Chitwan themselves. They make the forest come alive with stories, facts, and passion. Whether its for spotting down a rhino or interpreting bird tweets, their presence turns your safari into an intimate, immersive experience, not just a tour.

All-inclusive Easy Travel Experience

From round-trip transportation, to all meals, permits, and activities, we have it all included so that you can simply enjoy the experience.
