It seems that everyone you meet in Kathmandu is a trekking guide, once you mention that you’re going trekking - and it’s kind of hard to know who to trust and what’s a fair price. Once we spoke with Rainbow Mountain Treks we felt very safe. The price was better than any random service we had been offered, and they provided us with a lovely guide, who adjusted the trek to our wants. Right before we were supposed to go, I got admitted to the hospital with food poisoning, so we had to push the trek a couple of days. Rainbow Mountain Trek was very understanding and let us rebook our dates for when we got out of the hospital. Bhola and Bigyan are extremely helpful, welcoming and kind. They always offered refreshments when visiting the office and answered all questions with lots of knowledge. They set up our trek on the Manaslu Circuit with Baikuntha as our guide. The trek was amazing we felt completely safe and sure with Baikuntha’s knowledge and decision making. I will recommend Rainbow Mountain to anyone and everyone that I can for organizing trekking in Nepal!

I stopped into Rainbow Mountain Treks on my way back to my hostel out of curiosity to see how prices for treks compared with other companies. I met Bhola. He never pushed anything on me, just gave me the prices and answered all of the questions I had patienly. The prices were much lower than other companies so I was a bit skeptical. I decided to give it a go. I met my guide Baikuntha, and we had an amazing 10 day trek through Langtang Valley and Gosaikunda Lake. Baikuntha was a true professional and a very kind human being. I'm very grateful to Bhola and his son Bigyan who I dealt with to organise this trek. They are a family run business. Everything is smooth, efficient and personal. Now I will go on two more treks through them and i will pair up with Baikuntha again. I highly recommend Rainbow Mountain Treks, and I'm delighted to have stumbled upon them.
